Easiest-ever Shortbread Cookies

Easiest-ever Shortbread Cookies

1 cup butter
1 cup flour
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup cornstarch
1 teaspoon vanilla

Cream butter to consistency of whipped cream (I just whipped it a bit it doesn't get light and fluffy like I expected.)
Sift the powdered sugar, cornstarch and flour and add to creamed mixture (I just used the mixer.)
Then add vanilla (Though I have added it during the butter step.)
Drop on ungreased baking sheet and cook for 20 min on 350
My oven was hot so I cooked them for only 15-17 min. The peaks or edges might be slightly brown.
